Seeing a movie outdoors is a rare treat these days, August 21 at 8:30pm, various groups are making the special experience possible this summer!This Thursday, but thankfully, catch a free outdoor screening of Disney's classic Peter Pan in Niverville's Hespeler Park - just 10 minutes from Arrowhead. Another movie will play on September 6. See more at Movies in the Park 2014 , brought to you by the Niverville Chamber of Commerce.If you feel like venturing into the city, the Downtown Winnipeg BIZ is running Movies on Memorial , with upcoming screenings of Back to the Future (tonight, August 19) and The Princess Bride or Toy Story ( by vote , August 26). Free screenings will be held at Memorial Park at the corner of Broadway and Memorial, at sundown.If you're yearning for that old-fashioned drive-in experience, check out the pop-up Downtown Drive-In at the CityPlace parking lot (also in downtown Winnipeg) this Saturday, August 23 (Raiders of the Lost Ark) and August 30 ( by vote : The Matrix or Terminator 2). Bring your lawnchair; snacks will be available for purchase.
